I am a CMO | COO | GM with more than 20 years of strategic and operational experience in marketing, sales and product management at innovative technology-driven companies and consulting firms. I have a record of success identifying market opportunities and developing revenue streams for B2B, B2C, SaaS, enterprise software, web/Internet and consulting companies.

I assist entrepreneurial, growth and established organizations to quickly understand new business and technology challenges, rapidly craft strategic and tactical responses to them, and lead teams in their successful implementation. Over my career I have provided products and solutions to the financial services, high technology, pharmaceutical, and other industries.

I am a successful motivator, leader and facilitator of multi-functional teams and organizations and an internationally recognized public speaker, published writer and patent holder on topics such as analytics, content-based marketing and knowledge management.

Previously, I was Vice President of Marketing for AIR Worldwide, a subsidiary of Verisk Analytics (NASDAQ: VRSK) and a leading provider of risk management software and services. As the top marketing executive,  I built a global marketing organization that contributed to more than 5x revenue growth. Before AIR, I was VP Products for Verbind, where I was recruited by a board member to an interim management team. I led the transition of the company’s business model, which culminated in the successful sale of Verbind’s predictive analytics platform to SAS Institute.

I directed the worldwide Client Partner Organization at LeadingSide, an e-business consulting firm, where I served as a member of the executive team and oversaw the strategic consulting branch of the organization.  In this role I lead business development and solution delivery teams that defined new business strategies and implemented CRM, e-commerce, knowledge management, and portal solutions for clients such as Fidelity Investments, Bank of America, Lockheed Martin, BP Amoco, U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, Pfizer and others.

Earlier in my career, I held a variety of product marketing, product management and corporate marketing roles at Dataware Technologies and Kopin Corporation (NASDAQ: KOPN), where I created a Business Week Silver Medal winning LCD projection system and participated in road shows leading to two public offerings.  Prior to joining Kopin, I earned an MBA and PhD from Cornell University and a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
